Andrew Cooper joined Winick Realty Group in 2019 as part of the company’s Agent Training Program, where he represents both landlords and tenants across New York City.
Mr. Cooper was exposed to the real estate industry from a young age as father his has been investing in commercial and residential properties for many years, and he chose to pursue his own career in the field, earning a degree in Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management from Indiana University. Prior to his tenure at Winick Realty Group, Mr. Cooper interned at residential real estate firm Houlihan Lawrence, where he shadowed a Wall Street Journal-ranked residential real estate broker, developing an in-depth understanding of effective broker-client interactions strategies. He also interned at software development agency Vascar Solutions, where he assisted in lead generation efforts, and consumer packaged goods firm Fruigees, where he engaged in research activities and helped construct email marketing campaigns to target potential investors.
Outside of work, Mr. Cooper is involved in many charitable and community efforts. He is an active member of Neighbors Link, a non-profit organization that helps immigrant families integrate into the community, and he volunteers for the Food Bank of Westchester, packaging food for homeless shelters. As a student at Indiana University, Mr. Cooper planned and coordinated many philanthropic activities, including fundraising for the annual Indiana University Dance Marathon, which raises money for the Riley Hospital for Children.
