Winick Realty Group is hiring qualified applicants for our Agent Training Program, specializing in the outer boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island). This salaried, entry-level opportunity is amongst the industry’s most comprehensive and sought after programs for confident, professional, highly-motivated men and women seeking to enter and develop a career in the business of retail real estate brokerage.
Over the course of approximately eight months (or sooner as exceptional work may lead to early promotion), trainees learn the fundamentals of leasing retail real estate first hand, working directly with experienced agents and executives to gain the tools and knowledge necessary to become a successful agent. Throughout the process, trainees cover the aspects of retail leasing in-depth and complete relevant projects within each comprehensive lesson, in order to create a well-rounded understanding of the business and performing its’ services.
Trainees are responsible for actively compiling and reporting relevant market data and activity such as maintaining the company’s proprietary listing system with availabilities and comps, canvassing the streets of New York City’s outer boroughs to to update and populate the company’s street maps, and creating leads for potential clients, while assisting senior brokers with various projects.
Those who complete the program upon consistent exceptional performance, may, at the sole discretion of the company, be promoted to the position of a full-time Associate and be placed on the team of a senior broker. As an Associate, one earns commissioned pay and will be tasked with performing the company’s services including, but not limited to, representing New York City’s most established Landlords and Tenants.
